“I worked out in a gym and with a PT in the past. The personal training had to stop because of COVID-19 and the training in the gym somehow did not feel right anymore. The results were not what I wanted them to be. As I started doing the Weight Loss Beginner Program I thought, that I will never be able to do it. I have done eleven workouts by now and it is getting better, but still a lot of work ahead however, I already feel small changes. I am very motivated, I like the workouts, I like how they challenge me and I will certainly continue on with the workouts. I like that I can do the workout from home. “My name is Tania, I’m Portuguese and one of the front liners in the battle to coronavirus, I’m an ICU nurse. With the arrival of the pandemic, I was unable to attend gyms, so in June I decided that I would have to do something for me and I have signed in the program. As a result of the covid-19 lockdown I had to work from home and I was in need of an alternative for my daily bike ride to the office. And Michael came at the right time with his isolation challenge ????. “I love being a member of the MI community because you feel you are heard, even if you don’t always communicate with each other, but you are not left alone when you have questions and Michael has an open ear, no matter what medium you use to reach him, be it Instagram or the website itself. My experience is that the videos are very well thought out in the different programmes launched on the website. They explain exactly what you have to do and with the information provided next to the videos you also know immediately when there is a break, how fast you can/should be and how often you should repeat the exercise. The exercises for one day in the Bodweight programme are 30 – 40 minutes long. Pleasant length for a workout. It is also great that you have 5 weeks and after that to repeat the exercise again if you want. They are reasonable prices, which you can easily afford and you can also do them from home or on the road. The website is open and friendly and you can find your way around very quickly. I like the design. The website also works on all other electronic devices with access to WIFI and you can find your way around even on the smallest technical device. The programme I am currently doing is positive, because it helps me to be fitter for my everyday life but also at work. I notice the change, the strength that the programme gives me. I now pay more attention to regular exercise and also to breaks to give the body time to recover. Michael’s programme has helped me a lot in the lockdown phase to stay motivated, get fit and even recover better from the corona virus. I feel much fitter and the good thing about the programme is that you can start again at the same point at any time. You can feel that it is important to Michael that you have fun and enjoy it and unwind. When I have completed the Bodyweight Beginner Programme, I will definitely do the Intermediate Programme. “I’ve always been an active and athletic person, but after the birth of my second child and my challenging job in a racing/automotive supplying company I didn’t have enough time for sports and I suffered from back pain due to weak core. So, I started to look for training that is efficient, that doesn’t take hours and that is focused on stabilizing the core. And voilà – that was the time I found Michael’s programs. “I did the Bodyweight Beginner Program before. While being in this time of isolation etc. It has helped me with my blood flow and keep me active, now that gyms are open I’ve started training consistently again and thinking about experimenting with your free weight programs (e.g. the Kettle Bell one and the Fat Loss one) Not sure about the Fat Loss one though as I’m pretty skinny and have little to no fat to lose but we’ll see. Overall, I’ve been very happy with how the program worked and probably was the jump start for me to join a gym again.”
